A NEW MILESTONE: Carlyn’s 25th and largest community creation to date.

ABILENE HERITAGE SQUARE LIBRARY

Grand Opening

This month, Carlyn Ray and the team celebrated the Grand Opening of the new Abilene Heritage Square Library and the unveiling of Gathered Radiance. Featuring more than 400 individual glass elements suspended throughout the library’s three-story atrium, the installation brings light, movement, and color to the heart of the space.

Created for the community and with the community, more than 100 pieces within the sculpture were decorated by Abilene community members through workshops and events connected to the project. We are grateful to the City of Abilene, the library team, community partners, volunteers, and everyone who helped bring this vision to life.
