Introducing Emergence: Transformation Through Glass and Light
This year marks a meaningful new chapter for Carlyn Ray and her team with the debut of her first-ever museum exhibition, Emergence: Transformation Through Glass and Light, at The Grace Museum in Abilene, Texas!
Opening March 7 through September 2026, Emergence explores transformation, connection, and the power of light through more than 20 glass installations. Many of the works are suspended or interactive, using light to create moments of reflection.
At the heart of the exhibition is Sophia, a 9-foot-tall woven glass sculpture that serves as a sculptural meditation, representing divine wisdom. As light and color move through the piece, it invites viewers to pause and reflect, offering a reminder that creativity and potential are present within us all.
As Carlyn has spent time getting to know Abilene, Emergence has evolved into a celebration of community and shared energy, extending beyond the museum through ongoing public programming coming to Abilene Heritage Square in May.
This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to experience it together!

A Year in Light & Form
This January, we’re revisiting a home that beautifully brings together three of our artworks; a suspended Glassicle chandelier, a pair of fusion panels, and sculptural wall ribbons that wrap the staircase corner. Each piece plays with movement, light, and form, creating a layered and immersive experience. As we step into the new year, we’re grateful for the collaborations that made moments like this possible.
