About the Project

Light, movement, and material come together to create a living experience within this home, where each piece is not only placed, but felt. Featured in the 2025 AIA Dallas Tour of Homes, this collection of glass works was designed to respond to the architecture, allowing light to travel, shift, and awaken each space throughout the day.

Above the fireplace, a nearly nine-foot tall weaving of glass and metal rises in a gentle hourglass form, held within a twisted frame. The structure feels both grounded and in motion, as if breathing, drawing the eye upward while softly anchoring the room. As light moves across its surface, the piece evolves, revealing depth, warmth, and quiet energy.

Along the staircase, ribbons of glass climb and drift, joined by sculptural plates that catch and carry light. This installation moves like a current, fluid and organic, guiding you upward while softening the linear architecture. It invites a sense of flow, of transition, and of being carried from one moment to the next.
In a more intimate space, three fusion panels in neutral tones hold a quiet presence by day, then awaken from within as backlighting brings them to life. Their glow shifts with mood and time, offering a sense of calm, reflection, and warmth.

In the dining area, a hand-formed butterfly bowl rests at the center of the table, complementing the richness of the wood and adding a subtle moment of color and form. It is a small but meaningful gesture of balance, transformation, and everyday beauty.

Together, these works create a dialogue between light, form, and feeling, where art becomes part of daily life. It is a space not only to live within, but to experience, to gather, to pause, and to feel connected to something both grounded and luminous.
