About the Project

The intension of this installation is to bring the outside into the room with fluid strokes of color bringing in life and energy.  Carlyn with designer/gallery owner Kenneth Craighead works with the Shirleys on the colors.  The Shirleys love the colors of the pool and nature and they love tieing in the accent colors of the adjacent painting.  Having the ribbons wrapping around the corner creates an intimate space with the textural and gestural ribbons coming off the wall especially when viewing from the side. A spectacular and unique piece for a beautiful house.
