Dripping Springs Community Library Butterflies
About the Project
The Dripping Springs Community Library serves as a center for education, storytelling, and community. On 5.5 acres, the libaray has a lawn and amphitheater outside. It will have a place for music and community to gather. This libaray is setting the stage for all that a library can be and can offer the community.
Carlyn Ray Designs and the Dripping Springs community are creating a colorful Kaleidoscope of soaring glass butterflies in the interor of the 2 story building. Each butterfly shows transformation through learning and discovery. Their metamorphosis from a caterpillar to a butterfly can symbolize an evolution, rebirth, and hope. Through learning, building community, and emotional expansion each individual can hopefully grow wings and open their mind to new possibilities, perspectives, and dreams alongside thier community.
