Dripping Springs Community Library Butterflies
About the Project
The Dripping Springs Community Library is envisioned as a vibrant center for education, storytelling, and community connection. Situated on 5.5 acres, the campus includes a lawn and outdoor amphitheater designed to host music, gatherings, and shared experiences. This new library expands the idea of what a library can be, offering spaces that inspire learning, creativity, and community engagement.
In collaboration with the Dripping Springs community, Carlyn Ray Designs is creating a colorful Kaleidoscope of soaring glass butterflies within the interior of the two-story building. Each butterfly represents transformation through learning and discovery. Just as a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, the process reflects growth, renewal, and hope.
Through education, shared experiences, and the strength of community, individuals can open their minds to new possibilities, perspectives, and dreams. Each butterfly purchased helps bring this vision to life while supporting the library and its future programs.
