About the Project

The Hayden family weaving is a very special piece with the participation of the whole family to create a treasured piece.  Designed for their living room and in happy-bright colors, the piece brings joy into the room.  With the family taking a visit to the studio and checking in the colors during the process, each member of the family was able to choose an accent color and experience pulling out the glass piece that was used in the weaving.  From bright green to purple, these glass strands are woven into the sculpture bringing the family into the creation and sharing the creative moment with them.  Hopefully, this piece will be a constant reminder of being present with one another and enjoying the moment, the accents and colors of life, and the light of the now.
